Summer School, Week 2

Hello everyone, last week went superfast for us, we were busy every day, schedule was full and students were flowing into Little Minds to have some fun.
These are the things we've been inspired with last week, pictures usually say better then words. Please, enjoy them!
What do you think about our personalized treasure boxes? They were so easy and fun to do, felt always stays one of my favorite materials to work with. Truly simple and very colorful!
There are always lots of pony and mini-pony beads to make bracelets with!
Shaved Ice was a hit of the week, lots of flavors to choose from: strawberry, lemon, calpis, blue Hawaii, melon, plus my very good friend gave me an idea to freeze couple of soft drinks! Our students loved sugar -free cola shaved ice!

Perler beads are always very popular at Little Minds, children absolutely love to create their own designs, we make coasters and necklaces, and teachers take care of various colors to choose from, there are even the ones with glitter inside.

Making accessories is a very fun thing to do, every season we come up with something special. We also didn't forget our great experience with salt dough.

This time we didn't add water colors from the start, we left our dough plain, and let our students create their broaches, bake them and then paint  as they like it with permanent paint. Pins were fixed to the back of the broaches, and here we go! Pretty and so original summer accessories are ready to attract everyone's attention. Good Job, Girls! I'd like to thank all of the dear friends, who came and joined us last week. Looking forward to seeing you again
at Little Minds!

Afternoon classes are busy-busy playing all of the board games we have at Little Minds, there were many, and there are couple of the new ones we got recently. The hit of the last week was - Shopping Game, where our students have to count money, ask politely for things, and calculate how many things they can buy and how much money they'll have in the end of the game.

More things to come for our students this week, we are starting our art theme in August! See you at school.
